Proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Certified Teacher and Theatrical Firearms Instructor with The Society of American Fight Directors, Certified Teacher with the National Michael Chekhov Association, Instructor Level II with Margolis Method, Assistant Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education.



Kevin is a freelance artist and educator, with experience including five years as an Assistant Professor with the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Playhouse MFA program and the Case Western Reserve Department of Theater and four years as Assistant Professor of Acting and Movement at the University of Wyoming. He earned his MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University.

UW Professor Kevin Inouye helped host the first UWYO Stage Combat Workshop. Students created a monologue, acted out a sword-fighting scene and learned the proper techniques of stage combat.

Kevin has two books in print, a book chapter, and numerous articles and images in The Fight Master (for which he now also serves as an Associate Editor). He has been interviewed in The New York Times, National Public Radio, Variety, and more, and presented at conferences and workshops around North America.
